Millet Breakfast Bowl
Servings 6 servings
- 1 cup millet
- 3 cups water
- Pinch kosher salt
- 2 apples unpeeled diced
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoon maple syrup
- ¼ cup toasted slivered almonds
Toast millet in saute pan. Cover with water, salt, apples and cinnamon.
Simmer for 15-20 minutes, until soft and porridge like in consistency.
Serve in bowl topped with maple syrup and toasted sliced almonds
